Framed by well-kept gardens, the mainly 2-storied buildings are connected by paths from natural stone.

Aghios Nicolaos
The harbour town of  Aghios Nicolaos is the capital of the governmental district of Lassithi on the island of Crete and counts some 11,000 inhabitants.
The town raises on a peninsula which spreads eastward into the Mirambelou bay.
Aside the peninsula there are a port and a marina.

In Aghios Nicolaos, life is more quiet and less hectical than in some other Cretan tourism resorts. The town still preserves it's original Mediterranean ambiente.
